Cup of Tea
Basil Tea (for Headache & Stress)
Sweet basil is known to ease the digestive and nervous systems. Helping relieve gas and stomach cramps, nausea and vomiting.
Want to make tea?
(You can use either fresh or dried herbs)
1 part basil
1 part lemon balm leaf
¼ part chamomile and/or lavender flower
Combine the herbs in a container and mix well. Use 1tsp (if dried) or 2tsp (if fresh) of the herb blend per cup of boiling water. Pour the boiling water over the herbs, let infuse for 10-15 minutes, then strain.
Rosemary-Lemon Thyme Tea
Rosemary has a long history and is known for improving concentration and memory. Not only is it good for the mind but it’s also good for circulation and joint inflammation.

Prepare and infusion with fresh or dried herbs
2 parts rosemary
1 part lemon thyme (or your favorite thyme)
Combine in a container and mix well. Take 6 Tbsp (fresh) or 4Tbsp (dried) and put into a glass quart jar.
Pour boiling water over the herbs, filling the jar. Let steep for 30-45 minutes (the amount of steeping time and the amount of herb you use will affect the strength of the tea).
Strain
Add 1tsp of lemon juice and enjoy
Hawthorn Tea (for grief and seasonal affective disorder)
This plants berries, leaves and flowers are supreme for the heart. It has been known to allow blood to flow more freely through the arteries and veins. It can release cardiovascular constrictions and blockages while strengthening the heart muscles and regulating blood pressure.

2 parts hawthorn leaf, flower, and berry
1 part green oat top (milky top of just-ripening oats)
1 part lemon balm leaf
1 part St. John’s wort flower and leaf
Combine herbs in a container and mix well
Take 6-8 Tbsp of mixture and put into a glass quart jar
Pour boiling water over herbs, filling the jar. Let steep for 30 minutes
Strain and sweeten with honey if desired
Drink 3-4 cups daily until you feel joy and hope again
