Keep Your Gratitude's On
One holiday after the other season is upon us, and it always comes and goes sooner than we prepare for. It gets hard to remember what we do from year to year for planning. Then there are some years that pass and we don’t even remember what happened.
In order to not go down the Holiday funnel, I practice daily gratitude’s.
What’s a gratitude:
Anything that made you happy today. Yes, it’s really that easy. Where you happy the sun was shining. Clouds can also make you happy. Did you get to do something last night that you didn’t get to reminisce on? Well do it now during your gratitude’s.
When to gratitude:
Whenever works best for you! I know that might not be what you wanted to hear, but it’s whatever works with your schedule. I personally enjoyed doing it most on my lunch. I had time to myself and I could easily reflect on everything that had happened in between the present and my last gratitude.
How to:
Do you write them? Do you type them? Honestly, that’s up to you too. I personally like to write so I would take my planner with me to lunch and put them in that days space.
One of the greatest things you’ll start to notice is how much happier you get. It will be harder to fall into the Holiday funnel this year and all the good things will be what fills your memories.
